Privacy Policy
What Agent Mentor collects, what it doesn't, and where the rest goes.
Who operates this
Agent Mentor is operated by DF Digital (Le Zhou), who is responsible for the data practices this policy describes.
No accounts, no ad trackers
Agent Mentor has no user accounts and sets no advertising or analytics trackers of our own.
Cookies and local storage
We set one functional cookie, lang, to remember your language choice; it carries no tracking identifier. The reader keeps your reading position, exercise attempts, and review schedule in your browser's local storage, on your device, not on our servers.
What the site technically processes
This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's infrastructure processes standard technical request data, such as IP addresses and server logs, to serve pages to your browser. Our server also reads the Accept-Language header on each request to decide which language to serve; it isn't stored.
Reading progress sent to our server
While you're reading a lesson, the page also sends your scroll position to our server so it can offer to resume where you left off. That data lands in short-lived, per-instance storage on our hosting platform, carries no identity of yours, and is not retained by us.
What Paddle processes
Purchases are handled entirely by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details, billing address, and order information; we receive only your order and delivery information, never your card data. Paddle's own privacy policy is at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
What the installed product does
Once installed on your machine, Agent Mentor's outbound network activity is limited to the categories PROVENANCE.md itemizes — chiefly: package downloads during setup, reachability checks on the sources your lessons cite, a one-time build-time font download, and an anonymous version check against our download domain — plus optional public-video caption fetching (yt-dlp, if you opt in) and external images some lesson pages reference, which your browser loads. None of these carry personal data.
The optional in-course ask layer (bring your own key)
The local reader ships with an off-by-default Q&A layer inside lessons: zero new outbound traffic by default. Only after you write your own API key into the local .env.local does the reader send quoted lesson text plus your question to the provider endpoint you chose; none of it passes through us, and we cannot see those requests. The key is read only on the server side of your local reader, never reaches the browser, and is never echoed. How that provider handles the content is governed by its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can exercise access and deletion rights over the minimal data we process by writing to [email protected]. EU users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
